AANI presents Dialogue on Democratic Stability for national security Tuesday

The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) an umbrella body of alumni of National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Jos is set to present a national dialogue on Democratic stability for national security to Nigerian public.

In a statement released in Abuja by the Association’s Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ogbonna Onyeisi, mni, it stated that the event will hold at Nigerian Army Resource Centre at the Mambilla Barracks Asokoro, Abuja on 23rd October 2018 by 8:00 am.

Onyeisi informed that Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha will serve as the special guest of honour while National Security Adviser, Mr. Mohammed Babagana Monguno who will give keynote address will be the guest of honour.

Continuing, Onyeisi said the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Muhammed Sa’ad Abubakar 111, CFR, mni will be the royal father of the day.

Onyeisi stated that Prof. Oluwafemi Mimiko will present a paper on the topic, “Election and National Security: Challenges and Way Forward” with the duo of Professors Kabir Mato and Habu Galadima as paper discussants.

Maj-Gen. Adewumi Ajibade (Rtd) will speak on “Civil-Military Relations in Democracy: The Way-Forward for Nigeria” with Amb. E. O. Okafor, mni and Prof. Sam Egwu being the discussants.
