AANI mourns, eulogizes ex scribe, Emele

The EXCO and members of Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) has eulogized the good virtues of its former Secretary General, Rear Admiral O. U. Emele (Rtd) who passed on January 28, 2019 at Cedacrest Hospital Abuja.
In a press statement released in Abuja recently by the Association's Publicity Secretary, Dr.Ogbonna Onyeisi,mni, it noted the death of Rear Admiral O.U.Emele (Rtd),mni has thrown the AANI members into mourning mood.
Dr Onyeisi who described the Late Emele as an amiable fellow who rose to the rank of Rear Admiral in Nigerian Navy said he served the foremost National Think Tank and Nigeria in many capacities.
Speaking on the profile of the deceased, Onyeisi noted that the Late Rear Admiral Emele (Rtd) was the Secretary General of AANI from 2009 - 2013 during the leadership of Eng. Jani Ibrahim,mni and his Vice, Prince Fwa, mni.
The AANI Image Manager informed that the National Executive of AANI with Late Emele as Secretary General attracted many legacy projects to the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, NIPSS, Kuru which include, the new Lecture Hall and Hotel Resort constructed and donated by Central Bank of Nigeria.
“Also Late Emele will be remembered for his patriotic disposition and management acumen as the former Chief Scribe who used his position in promoting members’ welfare and public relations of AANI”.
Dr. Onyeisi also described his death as great loss to AANI and Nigeria. He informed that AANI by this statement urged members and all Nigerians to emulate Late Emele's patriotism and work towards making Nigeria a better society in fulfillment of the dreams of the founding fathers of the National Institute and our nation, Nigeria.
