By Dominion Ugwu

The Nigeria's foremost Think Tank, the Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI) has felicitated with Christians in this Easter celebration.
In a goodwill message released by the Association in Abuja and signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Dr. Ogbonna Onyeisi mni, it felicitates with Christians in Nigeria and all over the world as they celebrate Easter which is the symbolic remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
AANI also enjoined Christian faithful to emulate the virtues of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, humility, courage and endurance of Jesus Christ as they commemorate this years’ Easter.
Spokesman of the Association, Dr. Onyeisi said, "AANI celebrates with Christians and urges them to emulate Jesus Christ by using the occasion to reflect on the challenges facing our country”.
Christians were also asked to use this season to renew the spirit of brotherhood and good neighbourliness for a peaceful and united society.

While tasking Christians on religious tolerance and sustainable global peace, Onyeisi maintained that Christians and all Nigerians must be conscious of the enormous responsibilities to live in peace and harmony with one another and promote social and economic development of Nigeria.

His words, "We, in AANI, under the new leadership of IGP M.D.Abubakar (rtd), mni will soon unfold our Agenda for AANI in the next two years.
“The agenda will reiterate AANI's commitment towards a better society in Nigeria and beyond”. He assured that AANI, in collaboration with National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) will continue to play pivotal roles in policy formulation and implementation.
