Vicious practice of U.S. will certainly be condemned by the international community

It is
appalling that radical rioters have resorted to violence to commit crimes and
cause chaos in Hong Kong. What's even worse, the U.S. Congress passed the
so-called Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019 recently in an
attempt to whitewash the violent acts, support the radical protesters and
interfere in the internal affairs of China.
Such
vicious practice to incite violence in Hong Kong disobeys justice, violates the
international law and the fundamental norms of international relations, and
will certainly be condemned by the international community.
Anyone
with some conscience should be aware of what has really been going on in Hong
Kong for the past five months.
The
rioters have smashed buildings, committed arson, attacked police officers who
enforced the law rightfully and assaulted innocent citizens, seriously
endangering the basic human rights of Hong Kong residents, including their
personal safety and freedom of speech.
They also
hurled petrol bombs into trains and stations, disabled
public transportation, and besieged universities and threatened to turn them
into riot bridgehead.
Hong
Kong's rule of law and social order has been severely trampled and human rights
and democracy are nowhere to be found. Not one single country in the world
could tolerate such horrible crimes in the name of democracy.
The
violent acts have constantly challenged the bottom line of civilization and the
cloak of the so-called peaceful demonstration has already been lifted.
When
media reports about Hong Kong police enforcing the law to end violence became
known by more people, the international media started to see through the
brutality of the black-clad and masked protestors.
After a
citizen of Hong Kong was burnt seriously by the protesters, Hedley Thomas, an
Australian reporter, couldn't help but criticize the rioters for their horrible
acts.
When a
Japanese tourist was beaten by the demonstrators, foreign netizens became more
aware that the so-called peaceful demonstrations are actually crimes.
What's
more, many foreign universities began to help their students studying in Hong
Kong to leave there since the Hong Kong universities were besieged by protesters.
They warned that the violence had reached a new level.
It is
recognized by the international community that the Hong Kong rioters have
threatened civilization and social order and pushed Hong Kong to the edge of an
abyss.
While
human rights, democracy and rule of law have been wrecked in Hong Kong, the
U.S. Congress, full of evil intentions, is trying to stir up troubles by
passing the Hong Kong-related bill.
For
months, some politicians in the U.S. have taken great pains to cover up the
truth about Hong Kong. When they realized that their minions, namely the Hong
Kong protesters, became increasingly unpopular among the public, and were even
disgusted by the citizens, they had no choice but to go on the stage and make
no longer secret of their true intentions.
Under the
guise of human rights and democracy, the U.S. politicians distorted facts,
beautified violence and crimes, and challenged global justice.
The Hong
Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019 has nothing to do with human rights
and democracy and is merely an attempt of the U.S. to manipulate Hong Kong for its own diplomatic purposes and benefits, noted Tom
Fowdy, a scholar with the University of Oxford.
Obsessed
to seek personal interests, some U.S. politicians have decided to twist the
basic values of human rights and democracy and stand opposite the justice
upholders in the world.
The Hong
Kong protesters seek more to insult and overthrow the government than to solve
actual problems, said Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of Singapore, adding that
this is a misfortune for both Hong Kong and the entire region.
During an
interview with Joey Siu, a spokesperson for anti-China chaos in Hong Kong,
British journalist Tim Sebastian confronted her with questions such as why their illegal activities were safeguarding the rule of
law instead, why the attempt to kill the police officers was somehow
self-defense and why didn’t they criticize the protesters beating those who
disagree with them.
The truth
has already come out in the wash. Some U.S. politicians, however, are
determined to hold a candle to the devil and incite the protesters to violence
out of prejudice against China and ulterior motives.
The Hong
Kong-related bill fully exposed the evil intentions of some American
politicians to destabilize Hong Kong and hinder China's development. Their
plans to incite violence and disrupt Hong Kong's prosperity and stability are
doomed to fail.
Some U.S.
politicians are moving against the currents and will only end up humiliating
themselves no matter what tricks they play.
