APC Primary: Ibekaku-Nwagwu hails Buhari's renomination

Mohammadu Buhari's Special Assistant on Justice Sector Reform, Mrs. Juliet Ibekaku-Nwagwu has hailed Buhari's renomination by the All Progressives Congress, APC, for a second term bid.

Ibekaku-Nwagwu, who is also contesting the Party's nomination for Enugu West Senatorial seat, also extolled the party Members in Enugu state who she said turned out in large numbers to endorse the President for 2019 Presidential election.

In a statement in Enugu, yesterday, she said "This clearly confirms the popularity of President Muhammadu Buhari in the state. It also indicates the level of acceptability of the party in the state.

"I therefore wish to thank everyone who came out to cast their votes for Mr. President as the unopposed candidate of the party at the forthcoming Presidential Elections in 2019.

"President Buhari is determined to set the country on the path of economic recovery and also ensure the eradication of corruption to a reasonable level.

"All he needs is our support. To achieve these, I enjoin Ndi Enugu to come out en masse and vote for Mr. President during the general elections.

"I also want to thank the people of Enugu West senatorial zone for the encouragement so far in my quest to contest for the Senatorial seat of the zone under the APC and wish to assure all that I will not relent in any of my promises if I am voted in so that I can join hands with colleagues to ensure the success of Mr. President’s programmes” she concluded.
